This has been a topic i have addressed many times with clients and i agree with this article regarding why Juicing is not a good way to cleanse the body and maintain health.
I see clients who have been on various forms of juice cleansing diets and they claim it works for them, but the fact is when you separate the fiber or pulp from fruits and veggies and are left with the juice you have just taken out one of most important components of what makes fruits and veggies so healthy and that is the fiber. What you are left with is concentrated juice which has lots of sugar depending on which fruit or veggie you are juicing.
Take a look at this article and decide for yourself but the fact still remains that taking out the pulp from veggies and fruit is basically taking out the fiber which is very important to overall health and well-being.
